| We celebrated Katy's first birthday recently and according to tradition...she wore grandma's jeans. I celebrated my first birthday in Buffalo, Kansas where my parents had a very small dairy. We moved there when I was about six months old and moved back to California just after I turned one. My Aunt Beth gave me a pair of Lee jeans for my birthday, my mom put them on me, stood me on a chair and took my picture. This is now the third generation who has worn the jeans on their first birthday.

| My glass got to go on a fieldtrip to a mom's home. We hiked up a steep hill (almost killed me), made apple cider and picnicked by the nearby lake. This was just two weeks ago....too cold now!
